Details worth knowing

  • E8 One figures are for the preset account; the target, drawdown and payout can be changed at checkout, so your account may use other numbers.
  • E8 One's dynamic drawdown follows your highest closed balance (not open equity) and stops moving once it reaches the starting balance. E8 Signature's moves only with the end-of-day balance and also locks at the starting balance. E8 Pro's is static and moves only when the first payout is processed.
  • E8 One and E8 Pro measure the daily limit from the day's starting balance. On E8 Pro only 2% of the starting balance per day counts toward the target (daily profit cap).
  • E8 Signature has no daily loss limit in the challenge. On the funded (Performance) account a 2% daily pause stops trading until the next day without failing the account. Its total drawdown is 4% on 25K and 50K accounts and 3% on 100K and 150K; positions are closed at 23:00 server time.
  • On all three, close at least one trade every 60 days. E8 One's Performance account forbids trading from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after high-impact news, and payouts have a best-day rule (E8 One 40%, E8 Signature 35%).

  3. Enter the profit target, max daily loss and max total loss as amounts. On a $100,000 account, 5% is $5,000.
  4. For the total loss, choose "from the starting balance" or "from the highest balance (trailing)" to match the table above.
  5. Connect MetaTrader with the Expert Advisor so every trade arrives on its own, or import your history file.

The counter in your journal uses closed trades. E8 Markets can also count the floating loss of open positions, so leave yourself a buffer below each limit.
