Details worth knowing

  • The daily limit is measured from the higher of balance or equity at the daily reset, 5 PM EST.
  • 1 Step Standard: the 6% maximum loss trails your highest closed-trade balance (high-water mark) and locks at the starting balance once the account reaches 6% profit.
  • 1 Step Standard: the 9% target applies to accounts bought from 20 August onward; earlier accounts keep the previous 10% target. A trading day counts only if it makes at least 0.5% profit; you need 3 such days, not necessarily consecutive.
  • 2 Step Nano has no minimum trading days. On funded accounts a 50% consistency rule applies: your best single day must stay below 50% of total profit. Breaking it does not breach the account; keep trading until it falls below 50%.
  • US clients can only use Match-Trader and TradeLocker.

How to track Blue Guardian in Simple Trading Journal

  1. Create a new journal and choose Prop Account.
  2. Enter your account size as the starting capital.
  3. Enter the profit target, max daily loss and max total loss as amounts. On a $100,000 account, 5% is $5,000.
  4. For the total loss, choose "from the starting balance" or "from the highest balance (trailing)" to match the table above.
  5. Connect MetaTrader with the Expert Advisor so every trade arrives on its own, or import your history file.

The counter in your journal uses closed trades. Blue Guardian can also count the floating loss of open positions, so leave yourself a buffer below each limit.
