How it works
The daily floor is the balance at the start of the day minus the daily limit. The total floor is the starting balance minus the total limit, or, for a trailing limit, the highest balance reached minus the total limit.
Percentages are of the initial account size, as on the firms' rule pages. Pick a program to fill them in, then check them against the firm's own page.
Good to know
- This calculator uses closed-trade balances. Firms may also count the floating loss of open positions, so keep a buffer below each limit.
- When the daily limit resets, and whether it is measured from balance or equity, differs by firm. Confirm on the firm's own site.
