About Simple Trading Journal
Simple Trading Journal is a free-to-start trading journal for forex and prop-firm traders. It syncs MetaTrader 4 and 5 trades automatically without your broker password, imports cTrader, TradeLocker, DXtrade and Match-Trader reports, and tracks performance, discipline and prop-firm limits in 9 languages.
Who builds it
Ali is the founder of Simple Trading Journal. He is a university-educated electronics engineer and has been trading for almost ten years. Experience taught him that keeping a journal is the habit that does most to move a trader toward their goals. But with the old methods, both writing the journal and reviewing the data in it were hard work, so he built Simple Trading Journal.
How we check what we publish
- Prop firm rules come only from each firm's own official page. Every firm page shows that source and the date we last checked it.
- Competitor prices and features come from the competitors' own official pages, with the date of the check.
- Prop firm rules are re-checked every month and competitor prices every three months; when the source changes, we update our page.
- Nothing here is investment advice. Trading carries risk, and a journal does not change that; it shows you what you actually did.
